Now, nursery and greenhouse professionals can get relief from the destruction of Black Vine Weevil grubs with the introduction of new ROOTS Met52 Granular Insecticide from Novozymes Biologicals, Inc.

Developed from a naturally-occurring soil fungus, Metarhizium anisopliae, ROOTS Met52 Granular is registered for non-food use, including application on ornamentals, shrubs, and forest and shade-tree seedlings.

Initially available for use in the Pacific Northwest – Oregon and Washington – in 2008, ROOTS® Met52TM Granular will be registered for use nationwide in 2009.
